The term social mobility refers to movement by an individual or a family unit, up the ladder of a social class. According to Cambridge’s online dictionary definition, social mobility means ‘the ability to move from one level of society to another’.

With the presence of knowledge and information, the individual will be able to meet the challenges and questions of life in a confident, prepared manner. When the opportunity arises for the individual, he needs to be aware of the opportunity and grasp it with both hands.
